I'm a photographer from Bielefeld, Germany with a main focus on Portrait, Fashion and Reportage. Besides that, I am pursuing personal art projects in which I often try to increase the visibility of situations and feelings that are unnoticed most of the time. All of my projects are characterized by conceptual key elements like authenticity, individuality, and a strong visual approach. Therefore I am convinced that in every photograph there has to be more than just beauty. It has to tell a story based on emotions while the camera is the given tool to express.
With an academic background in photography, I know the importance of a coherent overall concept that goes beyond mere depiction. Sometimes my works are described as foreign, cinematic, and not very German, even though this is the place of my roots. Not by chance, photographers and artists I admire did things a little bit differently. To me it is important to balance curiosity from the arts with subtlety and classic elegance.
